7. CES 2008: Texas Intruments' Guitar Hero Setup

Pretty much everyone at CES thinks Guitar Hero is awesome. Even Bill Gates got into it during his keynote where he brought in Slash to sub for him. Texas Instruments used it as a draw in their booth with a very cool setup I'd love to have at home.

I was expecting this pen to suck, but actually it's quite good. This is called the WOWpen and it's available at http://www.wow-penusa.com/ Write on any surface and capture the input. The WOWpen has an ink pen and can also be used as a mouse input.

The hackers at buglabs.net have come up with a really interesting lego-like hackable computer. The base unit is a Linux box with additional modules that can be snapped on. Not for the faint of heart, not only is hacking encouraged, it's required!

15. CES 2008: Sling Catcher is real... Almost...

While not shipping yet the much fabled Sling Catcher was on display with a working demo at CES 2008. The new Sling Catcher and Slingbox Pro HD will work together which will be uber cool.
